MORE than £4,000 in fines have been handed out to dozens of drivers in Malvern for breaking parking regulations in a week.
Between last Tuesday (November 26) and Monday (December 2) the district council's civil enforcement officers issued 66 fines to motorists.
Out of those 36 were for more serious offences which were deemed to incur the maximum £70 charge including parking on single or double yellow lines, at bus stops as well as loading bays and taxi ranks.
In total £4,020 was handed out however offenders who pay within 14 days would see their charge halved.
