MALVERN has once again scooped a gold award in the Heart of England in Bloom competition - the town’s eighth in nine years.
Representatives from the town and Malvern in Bloom group were given the good news on Thursday (September 11) at a ceremony in Shrewsbury.
However Malvern did not come out on top in the region overall, finishing behind Biddulph in Staffordshire which took the honour for the third year in a row.
Now attention turns to the results of Britain in Bloom, after the town was put forward for the first time ever in the national competition.
