A chance to get some answers

Malvern Editorial 8th Oct, 2015 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

MALVERN residents are being given the chance to question the town’s council leader as part of Local Democracy Week (LDW).

Groups and organisations are also being encouraged to send in questions they want answered on any part of Malvern Hills District Council’s work, by Coun Phil Grove and chief executive Jack Hegarty, from now until 5pm on Friday (October 16).

After the council have sorted through the questions they will be answered and published online as a video blog.

A question and answer session has also been set-up to celebrate LDW which runs from Monday (October 12) to Sunday (October 18), where staff and councillors will visit The Chantry School to talk to young people about their work.

Coun Grove said: “I am hoping as many people as possible will take the opportunity to get involved and ask a question.”

Questions can be sent in by tweeting @MHDCcomms, emailing Claire Vaughan on [email protected] or by sending a letter to the council.
