MEGA-STAR actress Liz Hurley has said she has been left ‘heartbroken’ after losing her cat from her home near Ledbury.

The Austin Powers star, known to millions around the world, revealed on her Twitter page her cat ‘Mr Mew’ was missing after she recently returned to Donnington Hall following a trip to India.

Hurley tweeted: “Back from India to hear my beautiful Bengal cat Mr Mew is missing from nr Donnington in Herefordshire. Heartbroken.

“Please look out for him if you live locally. Big reward for his safe return.”

Shen then tweeted a picture of her view of the sky from her home with the following words – “Magnificent sky at home in Herefordshire this morning. I hope the still missing Mr Mew saw it from somewhere.”

The cat is of a leopard skin colour.

It is reported Hurley purchased the property in 2012 with her then partner and Australian cricket star Shane Warne.

Hurley has also shown her support to Malvern resident Amanda Lambert who has lost her English Springer Spaniel Dog named Max since he went missing Christmas Day.

The actress recently re-tweeted Max’s appeal poster, which has also been shared by Malvern born and raised pop star Cher Lloyd who more than five years ago came fourth in The X Factor.

Amanda told the Observer: “It is amazing that Liz Hurley and other stars have re-tweeted the poster and we are completely overwhelmed by the support we have received. But there are still no sightings or information which will lead our boy home.”
