THE OWNER of a Malvern salon has become one of the youngest ever to win a prestigious award.

Lucy Crouch, owner of Belle Beauty in Malvern, scooped the Crown Salon award in London which is only given to businesses who offer the exclusive Guinot product brand.

The award comes after just six years in business for the 27-year-old who set up as an independent salon when she was only 21.

She collected her accolade alongside Belle Beauty therapist and coleague Clare Green who had come second in the regional heats for the Therapist of the Year award, with the pair being joined by TV star Joanna Lumley who gave a speech at the end of the ceremony.

Lucy said: “We are all over the moon to have been named a Crown Salon this year.

“It is something the whole team here at Belle Beauty have been working hard towards and it is a testament of the fantastic work and treatments we offer.

“The ceremony was really great and Joanna Lumley was a real inspiration to women in business.”

Clare Green, of Malvern, added that she was really pleased to have been recognised for her hard work and would be aiming to win the award for Therapist of the Year in 2017.

“I’m so proud to have been named in this category and for the salon as a whole to be rewarded in this way,” Clare said.
