THERE were plenty of celebrations at a Malvern hotel when it toasted a brand new era with its new owners taking over the reins.
A welcome party was recently held at The Cottage in the Wood on Holywell Road to mark Nick and Julia Davies’ ownership of the venue.
There was a welcome party for the new owners Nick and Julia Davies who joined the cottage team in July.
Nick and Julia have been working alongside the existing management team at the hotel since July last year and now have taken over the reigns and now wish to do a complete makeover of the building.
Plans include taking it back to the Georgian glamour of the building including some art deco features.
Further plans include extending the bar to create a space for live music and relaxing while gazing out over the views.
The Cottage in the Wood is open to breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as afternoon tea by reservation.
