Search for Max continues more than a month after disappearance

A HEARTBROKEN Malvern family say they will never give up hope of find their missing dog despite him disappearing more than a month ago.

Amanda Lambert is desperately appealing for any help to find Max, an eight-year-old English Springer Spaniel, who has been missing since Christmas Day.

Max was having a sleepover at the family’s relative’s house in Bromyard on Christmas Eve before going missing the next morning.

He had been playing outside in the garden with six other dogs before the relatives of his owners noticed five of the dogs, including Max had disappeared.

Four dogs returned one-by-one after call outs but Max did not.

After a month of searching Max is still nowhere to be seen and owner Amanda Lambert, who lives in Malvern, said the last few days had been very hard to cope with.

“We decided to stop the co-ordinated searches, not an easy decision on my part but I feel it is the right time,” she said on her Facebook page

“I have not given up. I’m just so tired both physically and emotionally and feel torn between my need to have answers for my boy and caring for my family.

“Max, I hope with all my heart you are lucky and someone is loving you until they are aware you are already loved elsewhere! My family and home will not feel the same until you are back again.”

The family is offering a £500 reward for anyone who finds Max and anybody with any information regarding his whereabouts should call 07554429575.
