BARNARDS Green sit top of the Birmingham League First Division after securing an impressive 22-run win against Bridgnorth over the weekend.
Victory for the Malvern based club looked far from likely after the hosts were bowled out for just 141 inside 39 overs despite winning the toss and opting to bat first.
But they managed to produce a stunning bowling display to whittle the visitors all out for just 119 with Blair Kingsland taking four wickets for just 15 overs from six overs.
The win was Barnard Green’s second on the bounce and will look to make it three out of three when they face Moseley at home on Saturday.
