MALVERN Rugby Club will begin their 2016/17 Midlands 2 West (South) campaign with a visit to Nuneaton, it has been announced.
Dave Irish’s side will hope to build on the club”s sixth place standing last season when they take on Nuneaton Old Edwardians on Saturday, September 10.
Their first home match of the campaign will be against Pinley on September 17 – two weeks before they meet last season’s Midlands 3 West (South) champions Rugby Lions.
Newly promoted Southam will face Malvern on October 22 and February 11.
The Spring Lane club will meet Sillhillans twice throughout the campaign who were relegated from Midlands 1 West last season. Sillians visit Malvern on October 8 with the return fixture taking place on January 28.
Malvern’s seventeen-game season concludes with a home match against Spartans.
