MALVERN Town endured a frustrating night after they let a 2-0 lead slip away from their grasps against Dudley Sports.
Goals from Bryan Craven and Dave Reynolds – his ninth goal in nine consecutive league games – put The Hillsiders firmly in charge of the West Midlands (Regional) Premier Division clash.
But the visitors were pegged back by the struggling home side when they netted on the 70th minute before a deflected strike put them on level terms with ten minutes remaining.
Despite chances from both sides towards the end, there was no winning goal.
The draw means Malvern stay third in the league, now seven points adrift from leaders Wolverhampton Sporting Community. They next face Dudley Town on Saturday at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium.
