MALVERN TOWN FC managing director Chris Pinder has said it is time for the club to go to the ‘next level’ following their third place finish in the West Midlands (Regional) Premier Division.

The Hillsiders secured a top three spot in emphatic style on Tuesday night after thrashing lowly Wellington Amateurs 8-2 away from home.

The win, their biggest of the campaign in terms of goals scored, was Malvern’s tenth league win on the bounce.

And Pinder expressed his delight over his in-form side saying on social media it was a ‘genuinely amazing’ achievement.

He told his Facebook followers: “To finish third in the league with a squad of players, of which none live more than 8 miles away from the ground, is genuinely amazing at this level of the football pyramid!

“All plaudits should go the the the lads who play for pride in the badge they wear on their chests. To our loyal stalwart supporters, thank you!

“I’m proud. I hope you are too. That’s my motivation.

“See you next year. Time to take it to the next level!”
