Appeal for witnesses following Wells Road crash

POLICE have launched an appeal for witnesses following a serious crash which took place yesterday (Thursday).

The incident happened at 3.10pm when a black Volkswagen Golf and a white Mini collided on Wells Road, the main road between Malvern and Ledbury near the junction with Holywell Road.

Both cars suffered substantial damage but the drivers and a three-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the Mini, were unhurt.

The road was blocked until both vehicles were removed by a recovery service just before 5pm.

The reason for the collision is currently being investigated by West Mercia Police officers and have called for witnesses to come forward as soon as possible.
