A MALVERN based electric vehicle (EV) charger manufacturer has been recognised at the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2024.

Indra, headquartered on Sparrowhawk Close in Enigma Business Park, was crowned the winner in the ‘Best Use of Trends and Technology’ category.

The firm overcome fierce competition to earn the prestigious accolade at a black-tie awards ceremony held at Worcester Arena.

Judges highlighted Indra’s innovative use of trends and technologies in identifying new solutions to benefit the EV charger world. Over the last two years, Indra has built their own cloud platform, user app and software support solution.

The firms latest venture, a vehicle to home charging solution,  aims to provide EV drivers with a more cost-effective charging method while supporting the global push towards Net Zero.

Commenting on the win, James Drake-Lee, vice president of Marketing and Proposition at Indra, said: “This is a fantastic result for the team, who work incredibly hard to provide an industry-leading service and product.

“I’m incredibly proud that Indra has been recognised at the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards – we were up against some fantastic competition, and I’d like to extend a huge congratulations to everyone in attendance.

“We’re excited to continue this success as we pursue more exciting goals and have already set our sights on 2025.”
