YOUNGSTERS at Hanley Swan Primary School have enjoyed studying a whole topic on Mr Men characters.
Since the start of September, Year 1 and 2 children have made an alphabet book, built models, created various pieces of art work as well as test stretchy materials in science class.
The activities have been geared towards encouraging youngsters to get writing which on Friday (October 18) culminated in a writing festival where parents and grandparents also got involved.
Teacher Jennie Price said: “The children have been brilliant and the topic has really helped them become enthusiastic about writing.”
