THESE two bikes were among the high earners at a recent bike auction, fetching nearly £9,000 between them.
Ledbury based H J Pugh and Co held their final vintage and classic motorcycle auction of the year earlier this month.
There were more than 100 registered buyers vying for 50 bikes on sale as well as more than 200 lots of spare parts.
The top price two-wheeler on the day was a 1954 Moto Guzzi Airone 250cc which sold for £100 shy of £5,000.
The 1953 BMW R51/3 was another high earner with a winning bid of £3,800.
