CHILLING tales of the macabre and terrifying will be brought to the stage at The Market Theatre in Ledbury this week.
Taking to the stage at 8pm on Sunday (December 1), Rebecca Vaughan’s performance in Female Gothic, directed by Guy Masterson, has been described as a ‘near perfect piece of theatre’.
Many thrilling and eerie stories from the great female writers of the Victorian age have gathered dust and been forgotten until now. The play tells the story of an artist gripped by the clutching fingers of a dead past, a scientist defying nature in the dark realm of the senses and an expectant father driving made by creeping shadows.
Tickets costing £12 (students £8) are available online at themarkettheatre.com or from the box office on 01432 383663.
