One Stop employee helps raise funds for Octagon

A ONE Stop employee helped raise £50 for the Octagon Youth Club in just one shift.

Monica Bishop won a Value Awards Certificate for selling raffle tickets to boost the funds of the club, with Octagon trustee Martin Lawrence visiting to congratulate her and her colleagues for their support of the club.

He said: “This is an amazing team, they regularly raise money for good causes and work so hard for the community.

“Our thanks go to Monica Bishop, Heather Adam, organiser Rebecca Swarbrick, prize donators Linda Berrow and Jan Smith and store manager Noeleine Smith.”
