ONE OF the greatest ballets of all times will be showing at Ledbury’s Market Theatre this January.
Peter Wright’s production of Marius Petipa’s classic ballet Giselle will be screened live from The Royal Opera House in Covent Garden at 7.15pm on Monday, January 27.
It tells the tale of betrayal, supernatural spirits and love that transcends death. Peasant girl Giselle has fallen in love with Count Albrecht, who has led her to believe that he is a villager named Loys. Her discovery of his true identity has devastating consequences.
