All set for their biggest performance yet

YOUNGSTERS from a Malvern dance centre are getting ready for the performance of their lifetime.

Talented students from Ballet Malvern will take to the stage on Friday (March 21) at the University of Worcester Arena when they perform a mixture of dances during Worcester Wolves’ home basketball match against Plymouth Raiders.

The Ballet Malvern centre of dance has been established for about two years and offers people of all ages the chance to learn different types of dance including ballet and contemporary styles.

The centre held taster classes within a number of Malvern schools which have proved so popular and successful it has led to securing a performance gigs at upcoming basketball events. Youngsters from the group will also be performing at the Arena on Friday, March 28.




Rebecca Sloan-Kirton, who used to be a professional ballet dancer and runs the classes, told the Observer Friday’s performance would be a fantastic opportunity for the youngsters.

“Friday is going to be great for them, it is all really exciting at the moment and they are ready to go and buzzing.”
