LEDBURY Town captain Pete Boyle has been named as part of a joint management team at New Street ahead of next season.

Boyle, who has been a consistent performer for the Herefordshire side, will join former Pershore Town player Zac Blood in the hot seat as Ledbury prepare for their West Midlands Regional League Division One campaign.

The joint appointment follows Paul Mann’s decision to step down as first team boss last month after a disappointing season, which saw Ledbury finish three points above the drop zone.

The club have also announced the return of former manager Phil Preedy to the coaching team. Preedy, who ran the first team with Chris Powell before Mann took over in October last year, will manage the reserve side. with the help of Roly Welch, who has been named as his assistant.
