A WOMAN has cycled further than it would take from Malvern to Leeds to raise money for an animal charity in the town.
Earlier this month Pam Davenport clocked up 293kilometres – about 187 miles – on a static bike which saw £212.35 donated by people taking her place for ten minutes a time and raffle ticket sales.
The sum will be added to the larger pot being raised for the Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter in Newland which now stands at more then £2,000.
Pam from Bromyard, has been holding fundraising events in recent weeks building upto a final challenge which will see her take on Mount Kilimanjaro in September.
The Kili Chili Climber as she has dubbed herself because she runs a chili ‘zoo’ at her home, completed the latest effort outside of Bromyard Library.
