WILDLIFE photographers have the chance to see their snaps in a popular calendar while raising funds for a worthwhile cause.
Conservation charity Worcestershire Wildlife Trust will run is annual competition which looks to put the county’s settings in the frame, with winning pictures featuring in their 2016 calendar.
Wendy Carter, communications manager for the Trust, said: “The competition is popular with photographs that put Worcestershire’s fabulous wildlife and wild places into the frame. We are always impressed not just with the quality of the photos but also with the range of wildlife that people are seeing.”
The competition is open to anyone but photos must be taken in Worcestershire.
The calendar is also sold to raise cash for the Trust’s conservation work across the county.
A total of 12 winning pictures will be featured as A4 images in the calendar. The closing date is Friday, April 10, and residents can visit www.worcswildlifetrust.co.uk/photography-competition to download an entry form.
