A CLASSIC Malvern car company has revved up more than £1,500 for the Worcestershire Oncology Centre.
Morgan Motor Company took its 4/4 and Plus 8 models to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital as a £1,600 cheque was handed over on Wednesday (April 29).
The car firm, which raked in the funds at a PistonHeads Sunday Service held at its Malvern factory, has chosen the centre as its charity of the year.
Steve Morris, Morgan managing director, said: “We always enjoy hosting passionate enthusiasts such as the PistonHeads community and I would like to thank all those that attended for their generosity and for helping to make the day a success.
“I am pleased we were able to raise so much for the new Oncology Centre on the day. Thank you again to all those that donated in support of a great cause.”
Anne Sullivan, Macmillan lead cancer nurse, added: “This is fantastic news for our patients and we are extremely grateful for the support the Morgan Motor Company has offered us.”
