A SCHEME designed to drive business for Malvern’s independent traders celebrated its second anniversary with the launch of a new app.
The Portico Loyalty Card, which was launched in 2013, works by customers signing up for a free card and earning reward points every time they make a purchase in any of the Malvern or Upton shops registered.
It is only available to use in independent family-owned businesses in the towns. To celebrate the two-year milestone, the Portico app was launched at Colwall Hotel on Wednesday (May 20).
The app will allow loyalty card holders to use their mobiles to search for businesses, products, special offers, locations and more.
It is fully compatible with iPhones, Android, Blackberry, Windows and Kindle.
