FLOWER power will be brought back to life when an Upton care home turns back the clock for a special open day.
Residents at Beechwood Residential Care Home are set to travel back to the 1960s next Friday (June 19) as part of a nationwide campaign where care homes across the country open their doors and welcome people to share the day with their teams and residents.
And to mark the occasion, the Holly Green site will host the swinging event, which will include retro music and 1960s quizzes, from 11am to 6pm.
Carole Hall, Beechwood home manager, said: “Our residents and the team at our Sanctuary Care Home love to dress up and especially enjoy seeing new and familiar faces at their events, so please join us for what promises to be a very special day.”
