DOZENS of mourners travelled from all over the country to celebrate the life of an ‘inspirational’ Malvern psychic who claimed she could channel the spirit of the late Princess Diana.

About 60 people turned out to the Mount Pleasant Hotel on Sunday (September 20) to remember Anne Stewart, who passed away on August 22 following a six-month illness.

The day was organised and hosted by Rick Banbury, husband Jack Stewart and Midlands-based spiritualist Jonathan Brown. It featured a collection of photos, stories and accounts of Anne’s life, together with videos which showed her channelling Princess Diana.

Mr Stewart said: “Anne had only been known to people of Malvern for 18 months, yet it was clear the impact she had on their lives was significant.

“There were contributions from friends from Somerset, Sunderland and Manchester which captured the very essence of this loving woman who has touched hundreds of thousands of lives. She was an inspirational woman.”

Anne, who was also a medium, author and spiritual teacher, has trained and helped more than 5,000 people in the UK, Ireland and Greece with her healing since 1981 with many of her YouTube videos attracting 300,000 hits.

Mr Stewart added: “A book will also be written about Anne’s inspirational journey from a poor background, through a successful career in house sales, winning national awards for interior design, to running her own recruitment business and eventually becoming the ‘Voice of Princess Diana’.
