UPTON residents are being urged to dig deep and donate to this year’s shoebox appeal.
Upton Baptist Church will serve as a drop off point for Operation Christmas Child Shoebox and from Monday, October 19, to Friday, November 6, people can hand over a host of items.
Knitted wear, toiletries, small toys, note books, colouring books, balls and small cuddly toys for children aged five to 14 are all welcome.
Once collected, shoeboxes will then be filled and will be given to youngsters in poor areas of the world throughout the festive season.
