FILM lovers in Malvern have been gripped with James Bond excitement after packing into the town’s cinema to watch the series’ new movie.
Tickets for the anticipated new release ‘Spectre’ were sold out at Malvern Theatres’ cinema for its opening night on Monday (October 26).
Ticket sales were also impressive on Tuesday and are set to remain high throughout the week.
The movie, the 24th James Bond film, runs at the Grange Road venue until November 12.
The cinema, which has 380 seats, underwent a £50,000 refurbishment project at the end of last year.
Nic Lloyd, the venue’s chief executive, said: “I am delighted so many people are choosing to watch Spectre at Malvern Cinema a year on from the refurbishment of the seating.
“Bond runs until the 12th November, and I encourage people to book in advance.”
