A MALVERN woman has been charged for drink driving after being found to be over the limit during the daytime.
Police stopped the 37-year-old driver, who was driving a Ford Fiesta, on Upper Howsell Road about 3.20pm yesterday (Tuesday).
Officers recorded a positive test of 43 microgrammes (mcg) of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath from the driver – the limit is 35mcg.
The incident happened on the very first day of South Worcestershire Police’s annual drink and drug campaign.
Police said the woman will appear before Worcester Magistrates’ Court on December 18.
