POLICE have launched an appeal for information after a neglected horse was found to be ‘destroyed’ on land near Powick Primary School.
The incident happened sometime on Friday night (March 11).
A tweet from Malvern police officers reads: “Abandoned, neglected horse was destroyed tonight in a field near to Powick School. Any info contact PC Ransome-Williams- 0675S 110316.”
Police also stated on social media they were looking to identify the owner of the horse and described the incident as ‘very sad’.
The RSPCA attended the scene.
