MALVERN councillor Cynthia Palmer has been elected the town’s new Mayor.
The Priory ward councillor takes over the reins from Julian I’Anson who Palmer deputised in the last council year of 2015/16.
Palmer was formally elected as Mayor at Malvern Town Council’s Annual Meeting held last night (Tuesday).
Coun Hannah Campbell will be the town’s new deputy mayor for the next twelve months.
