THESE are the stunning images sent to the Observer of two of the country’s most well known aircrafts flying over the picturesque surroundings of Malvern during the weekend.

The Submarine Spitfire and Hawker Hurricane flew over Malvern as part of this year’s Mappfest event which thousands of people attended.

Observer readers Tony Black and Tom Bennett sent the images to us which show the famous aircrafts flying over parts of Malvern Link and Madresfield Court.

Both aircrafts were used during the Second World War and are known for playing a significant role in the Britain’s victory.
