A NEW chapter begins when a brand new restaurant opens its doors in Great Malvern tomorrow (Thursday) .

Gallery 36 – the brand new name and venue previously known as Oliver’s Bar – opens up to its first ever customers, marking a brand new era for the Belle Vue Terrace building.

The building has been completely refurbished as its management team, married couple Matthew and Beth Cain, look to bring new life into the restaurant welcoming a completely different customer base for which Oliver’s was known for down the years.

Gallery 36 will offer a mix for all the family with a range of foods including Tapas, burgers and steaks and traditional English meals.

Speaking to the Observer ahead of the big opening, Beth said: “We’ve decided to open at 6pm so we can spend more time putting more finishing touches in place but we are all very excited.

“The menu will have a range of foods such as tapas, sharing platters, burgers and steaks and there will be some traditional English dishes too. There’s going to be a huge variety for people to enjoy.

“We want to welcome absolutely everyone to our new restaurant. We will cater for people who just want to come in for a coffee or glass of wine or those who want a family or romantic meal – everyone is welcome.

“Things are going great and we can’t wait to bring Gallery 36 into Malvern.

“Everything here is completely new as we’ve refurbished everything. It’s going to be very different to how Oliver’s was.

“We’re opening later than schedule but it’s for a reason because we want to get this right.”
