MALVERN is celebrating bloom success once again after the town was awarded Gold for a ninth time.
And it’s just not Malvern’s team with huge smiles as Upton and Ledbury also won Gold awards in the Heart of England in Bloom competition.
The results were revealed at a special presentation ceremony on Thursday night.
There was also joy for two Malvern pubs – The Mount Pleasant Hotel and The Foley Arms – who won Silver Gilt certificates in the hotel and pub garden floral display category.
Cradley Primary School was awarded a special discretionary award for the best school involvement in the Heart of England in Bloom region.
Judging took place earlier this summer.
