MALVERN Town got their promotion hopes back on track after they thrashed bottom-of-the-table Gornal Athletic 6-0 at the HD Anywhere Community Stadium.
The Hillsiders got back to winning ways in the West Midlands (Regional) Premier Division following their defeat to Black Country Rangers a fortnight ago as they proved way too hot for Saturday’s visitors.
Striker Dave Reynolds netted a hat-trick and goals from Sean Smith, Matt Turner and Bryan Craven made it an enjoyable afternoon for Les Jones’ side.
Malvern remain in fifth place in the league – eleven points behind leaders Haughmond but with two games in hand.
