MALVERN Town will play Bromsgrove Sporting in the semi-finals of the Worcestershire Senior Urn after beating Dudley Sports last night (Tuesday).
Two goals from Lewis Platt and a strike each from Nathan Hayward and Matthew Turner earned the Hillsiders a 4-2 win in Dudley.
However their win was somewhat tarnished by the news that skipper Reece King picked up a serious injury and was taken to hospital after the game.
Malvern will face Bromsgrove – the current leaders of Midland Football League Division 1 – away from home on the week commencing December 5.
The other semi-final sees Highgate United take on Stourport Swifts.
Malvern Town have won the competition eight times since its launch in the early 1970s.
