POLICE have reassured residents that a ‘controlled explosion’ at a Malvern school this afternoon (Wednesday) was of no risk to the public.
Details at the moment are sketchy and officers have not yet disclosed the name of the school involved but said they were ‘disposing chemicals’.
A tweet from West Mercia Police Operations and Communications Centre said: “You may hear the controlled explosion as Police in conjunction with EOD are disposing of some chemicals currently held in a Malvern school.”
