Witnesses wanted as thieves use JCB to steal machinery in Ryall

WITNESSES are being sought after expensive horticultural machinery was stolen near Upton-upon-Severn.

The offenders used a stolen JCB with a registration plate ending in GWM to enter a secure business unit compound on The Exchange in Ryall between 11pm on Sunday, October 23 and 9am on Monday, October 24,

They then used the JCB to load machinery onto a stolen Layland Daf lorry with a registration plate ending in WHY before leaving the premises.

The lorry was later found burnt out but the machinery was not inside it.




The following items were stolen from the premises: a Bomford Wren flail hedgecutter, a Nixon pto driven woodchipper, a Fleming Top 3 (1mtr wide) grass topper, a Fleming Top 5 (1.5mtr wide) grass topper, a new TYM power loader c/w brackets & bucket a new Del Morino STB 125 stone burier and a used Del Morino Funny 1.32 mtr wide flail mower.

West Mercia Police officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the theft or has been offered any of the above machinery for sale.
