MALVERN Town missed a golden opportunity to close the gap between themselves and the league leaders of West Midlands Regional Premier Division after they were held to a goalless draw last night (Wednesday).
The Hillsiders were forced to settle for a point after drawing 0-0 at home to Cradley Town.
Despite boss Les Jones insisting his side must win their games in hand, they failed to get an all important three points at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium.
The draw means Malvern now are ten points behind top-of-the-table Haughmond with just one game in hand.
Malvern will be looking to get back to winning ways when they entertain Willenhall Town on Saturday.
