Gritters on standby as another freezing night awaits

Malvern Editorial 29th Nov, 2016   0

THE gritters will be out on primary roads from about 6.30pm this evening with temperatures expected to fall as the cold dry spell continues.

The MET Office says some mist or a few freezing fog patches could develop in places particularly during the second half of the night.

Looking forward to Wednesday morning it will stay dry with slowly increasing cloud cover.

This means the road surface temperatures could fall to -6 C in places, mainly on higher ground.

The county’s gritting teams will tackle secondary routes once primary roads are completed.

The outlook for tomorrow morning remains cold with a sunny start to the day.
