TWO teenage boys have been arrested following a trail of destruction which included damage to numerous vehicles and Malvern Splash Leisure Centre.

Between 5.30pm on Friday and 3am on Saturday, the 16-year-old and 17-year-old offenders have smashed off wing mirrors of cars and vans before using them as weapons to throw at windows and windscreens.

West Mercia Police received nine reports of criminal damage to vehicles and property along Court Road, Priory Road and Clarence Road.

The pair smashed the driver and passenger windows of a red Royal Mail Peugeot Expert van on Priory Road before breaking off the wing mirror which was used to smash the glass at the leisure centre.

The mirror was recovered and sent to the Scenes of Crime Office.

Both wing mirrors of a black Mini on Clarence Road had also been destroyed as well as one wing mirror from a Vauxhall Corsa on Court Road.

Offenders had also broke off the wing mirror of a Silver Peugeot 208 before doing the same to two Mazdas and a black Audi Quattro on the same road.

Anyone who had damage caused to their vehicle in the area between the times mentioned, or anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour, is asked to call police on 101 and quote reference number 86s of February 25.
