Boy punched as robber steals rucksack in Malvern

A BOY who was riding his bike in Malvern was punched by a robber before having his rucksack stolen.

The incident happened on Moat Crescent on Friday (March 30) between 2.30pm and 3pm when the boy was with his bike and black Nike rucksack in hand.

As the boy went to mount his bike, he was approached from behind by the offender.

The offender punched the boy in the nose, causing him to fall off his bike, before running off with the victim’s rucksack.




Inside the rucksack contained the victim’s blue Nike hoody, some small change, an inhaler and prescribed medicine.

The attacker was alone and is described as white male, 5’9” slim build, clean shaven, in his 20’s wearing a black Nike tracksuit top and trousers.


The top had a hoody which was up and underneath was a beige baseball cap.
