New Malvern salon opens its doors while raising £250 for charity

A MALVERN salon has opened the doors of its brand new home in the town and raised hundreds of pounds for charity at the launch event, writes Joshua Godfrey.

Belle Beauty officially launched in its new location at 94 Worcester Road in Malvern, opposite the Holy Trinity Church, last Tuesday (April 4), with a sold out event raising £250 for Malvern Special Families.

The award winning salon was previously located at PF2 gym on Malvern Retail Park, where they offered treatments for over seven years.

Moving to the new location has allowed the size of the popular salon to more than double.

Belle Beauty now has four treatment rooms, a new spray tanning booth, two nail bars and a relaxing waiting area for customers.

Salon owner, Lucy Watkins said: “It’s a really exciting time for Belle Beauty,” said Lucy, who aged 29 was one of the youngest salon owners in the country to ever win the Guinot Crown Salon Award in 2016 and 2017.

“We have relocated to much larger premises and will have a larger team as well.

“This means we’ll be able to offer an even better service than before in a relaxing, tranquil environment.”

As part of the move Anna Smith has joined existing therapists Clare Green and Debbie Alban, and sports masseuse Tabitha Luke-McLean will also be offering her services from the salon.

On top of this Nadia Mikle, who offers semi-permanent brows and lash extensions, will be working at Belle Beauty every Saturday.

“The move will enable us to offer our customers more appointment times than before, which is something we are really excited about,” Lucy added.

“Of course it’s our clients that keep us going, so I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported Belle Beauty.

“It has been a busy time for us moving to the new location in Worcester Road but we are now more excited than ever about the future of the business.”
