A BIKER had to be airlifted to hospital with serious chest and back injuries following a collision with a car in Malvern.
The incident happened on Spring Lane at about 5.10pm on Friday when the motorcyclist, in his 30s, collided with a silver Skoda Fabia close to the turn into English Briads Ltd.
Spring Lane was temporarily closed while land and air ambulances attended the scene before the man was flown to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
The man was treated by paramedics for chest and back pains.
Police are appealing for witnesses to call 101 and quote incident number 603s of September 1.
