A MALVERN College student raised hundreds of pounds after donating several inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust.
Sophie Calderwood chopped eight inches off her long locks for the charity which provides wigs free of charge to young girls who have lost their hair to illnesses like cancer or alopecia.
The 15-year-old also raised £300 in the process.
Sophie said: “The fact the charity provides wigs for such a good cause is amazing.
“I chose the Little Princess Trust because of their tireless work to strive to help young people is awe-inspiring.”
