Malvern's very own multi-million selling virtuoso Nigel Kennedy returns in December

MULTI-MILLION selling virtuoso and violinist Nigel Kennedy has announced two very special December dates in Malvern – a town he knows very well.

Having lived in Malvern for a long period of his life, Kennedy will return with two shows at the Festival Theatre, which will be the UK premiere of his brand new project in which he reinterprets the work of George Gershwin.

As well as this, Kennedy will also perform pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, and his own compositions from throughout his illustrious career that is unparalleled in terms of modern British Classical music.

Kennedy’s precocious technique first came to mainstream prominence with his interpretation of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, which is now one of the best-selling Classical recordings of all time, remaining at the top of the UK Classical Albums Chart for over a year.




An artist who is unafraid to experiment such is his unique talent, Kennedy has since traversed several different projects including reinterpreting the works of Jimi Hendrix.

Having brought a fresh perspective to Classical music by his merging of the traditional with the contemporary, Kennedy has sold out the most prestigious of venues worldwide several times over, and will now bring his trademark effervescent live performance to Malvern for a celebratory homecoming.


Nigel Kennedy will be performing at Malvern Theatres on Wednesday, December 6 and Thursday, December 7.
