RAIL users will be hit by a 3.4 per cent train fare hike from today (Tuesday).
The new rise, which is linked to the Retail Price Index (RPI) will be the biggest since 2013.
WMT are allowed to rise ticket prices in accordance with the RPI but operators do not always implement the maximum increase.
