THE BODY of a missing Malvern woman has been found in the River Severn.
West Mercia Police have confirmed Leung (Mary) Yapp was found at the river near Ryall at about 12.20pm on Saturday and has now been formally identified by Worcestershire Coroners.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
The 72-year-old was reported missing from her home in mid-November last year.
Chief Inspector Jerry Reakes-Williams said: “Mary’s next of kin have been informed of this very sad news, and are being supported at this difficult time.
“I’d like to thank everyone on social media and in the local community who shared our appeals to find Mary.”
