THE MALVERN Civic Society is asking for nominations from members and the general public for its 2018 award.
An annual accolade from the society has been made since 1994 for a new or renovated building which adds something special to the town’s environment.
The aim is to publicise schemes which are not only excellent in design and craftsmanship but also relate well to their surroundings.
All kinds of projects have been considered, including a small modern dormer bungalow and Edwardian house which were commended last year.
Winners in previous years were Elmslie House on Avenue Road (2016), Malvern Link railway station (2015) and Cartwright Court on Road (2014).
For a building to be eligible, the work on the property must have been completed before December 31 last year and nominations must be made before March 31.
Contact John Dixon on 01684 574144 r email [email protected] to make a nomination.
The award is a small plaque which is put on the building.
However, it is highly regarded by winning owners, builders, architects and developers.
