A UNIQUE woodland outside Great Malvern has been closed until further notice due to concerns over public safety.
Bosses at the Three Counties Agricultural Society have shut Langdale Wood, off Blackmore Park Road, for essential works due to the damage caused by recent high winds.
They say precautionary action had been taken to avoid potential injury to residents walking through the woods.
Society chairman Ken Nottage added: “We understand the area is used by many people and that this closure may cause disappointment but we cannot risk injury while the area is considered unsafe.”
