THE NCT Malvern Hills branch is celebrating after its popular Nearly New Sale received a top accolade.
The Gold Standard award recognises the branch’s sale as one of the best in the UK after achieving fund-raising success and providing parents and parents-to-be with a wide range of second-hand goods for babies and toddlers at low prices.
To achieve this volunteers at NCT Malvern Hills have demonstrated an extremely high standard of service to customers and to sellers, offering a wide range of products, and showing that they are environmentally friendly and committed to recycling.
Hannah Hollick, branch co-ordinator at NCT Malvern Hills, said: “We are delighted to have received this award as many of us volunteers are parents ourselves and we know how expensive raising children can be.
“Knowing that we are helping local parents to save money makes all the hard work worthwhile.”
The next Gold Standard Nearly New Sale will take place at The Dome, Great Malvern, on Saturday, April 14 at 10.30am.
